Vibration-Induced Pipework Failure

Les 11 et 12 juin 2014, Vibratec organise une formation intitulé « Vibration-Induced Pipework failure », à Ecully. Une seconde session est programmée les 9 et 10 décembre 2014.

Goals:

Vibration-induced fatigue in process piping systems is an important failure mechanism. The aim of this program is to provide awareness of piping vibration issues and understanding of current screening & assessment methods.

  • Pipework Vibration: its main causes & consequences,
  • Theoretical methods for calculating ‘Likelihood of Failure’(LOF) according to the Energy Institute Guidelines,
  • Portable vibration measurement instrumentation & basic vibration measure-ment techniques,
  • “Specialist techniques” & when these should be used,
  • Common vibration problems: what constitutes “good practice” for avoidance of vibration-induced fatigue problems.

Trainees:

  • Project engineers (offshore – onshore),
  • Specialist engineers (HSE, mechanical, structural, piping),
  • Operation support (maintenance, technology, operation).
  • Catégorie: Formation
  • Date: 11 juin 2014 - 12 juin 2014
  • Lieu: Vibratec - 28 chemin Petit Bois - 69134 Ecully
