Vibration-Induced Pipework Failure
Les 11 et 12 juin 2014, Vibratec organise une formation intitulé « Vibration-Induced Pipework failure », à Ecully. Une seconde session est programmée les 9 et 10 décembre 2014.
Goals:
Vibration-induced fatigue in process piping systems is an important failure mechanism. The aim of this program is to provide awareness of piping vibration issues and understanding of current screening & assessment methods.
- Pipework Vibration: its main causes & consequences,
- Theoretical methods for calculating ‘Likelihood of Failure’(LOF) according to the Energy Institute Guidelines,
- Portable vibration measurement instrumentation & basic vibration measure-ment techniques,
- “Specialist techniques” & when these should be used,
- Common vibration problems: what constitutes “good practice” for avoidance of vibration-induced fatigue problems.
Trainees:
- Project engineers (offshore – onshore),
- Specialist engineers (HSE, mechanical, structural, piping),
- Operation support (maintenance, technology, operation).
